That is how you will feel when you are enjoying the hand crafted, innovative cuisine from Marc Vetri's kitchen. The tasting menu is available on Friday and Saturday evenings and is hand painted with a unique design each night. The a la carte menu is available the rest of the week and features home made pastas, roasted meats and seasonal fish. Truly a "transporting experience," although not inexpensive, definitely less than a trip to Italy!

Local publications, The New York Times and multiple national publications have "fallen in love" with Marc Vetri! Along with Jeff Benjamin, Vetri has earned a reputation in Philadelphia and the rest of America for seasonally inspired contemporary and traditional Italian cuisine served in an intimate setting by impeccably knowledgeable servers, paired with distinguished wines. While Marc now has two restaurants that require his attention, most agree chances are still good for catching a glimpse of this uber-chef during your meal.
Pasta
Everything is handmade at Vetri, including the pasta. Not that the fact would ever be in question! Perfect is the word that comes to mind and is hard to beat...OK, "fabulous," "divine," and "heavenly" work, too! Whether enjoying the clouds of light gnocchi or ribbons of ultra-silky fettuccine, the melt-in-your-mouth quality remains the same. Always a staple on the Vetri menu, the pasta choices change with seasons and are available a la carte Monday through Friday and are always incorporated into the chef's grand tasting on Friday and Saturday evenings. Not sure which to choose? The knowledgeable, wonderfully friendly servers will point you in the right direction.
Prix Fixe
The chef's grand tasting menu is available on Friday and Saturday evenings at Vetri. On Friday, the tasting menu must be reserved for the table in advance, and on Saturday it is the only option that is offered. Be prepared to relax and not just eat, but experience the culinary journey you will take in the small rustic dining room. To further perfect your scrumptious adventure, Jeff Benjamin's wine pairings are pure delight as he masterfully matches the most amazing wines to complement each dish you are enjoying.

Marc Vetri has perfected Italian contemporary cuisine while his counterpart, Jeff Benjamin, has carefully developed a winning wine cellar to complement his efforts. His travels through Italy have afforded Mr. Benjamin the knowledge to garner an exquisite collection of over 5000 bottles of distinguished vintages from around the globe. Along with an extensive Italian collection, the knowledgeable staff is quite capable of satisfying your tastes and budget with French, Californian, Australian, Spanish and other labels. A wine pairing is also offered for the chef's tasting menu on Friday and Saturday evenings.
