The wings here are cooked to a perfect crisp and the sauce is tasty.
Cheese Steaks
We are officially casting our vote for the best cheese steak in the area right here, right now, with MaGerk's! In this case, "area" is defined as Fort Washington, Ambler, Lafayette Hill, Erdenheim, Glenside, and the surrounding neighborhoods we may be missing. The MaGerk, while delicious, was a wee bit on the salty side which is obviously unavoidable with the addition of the salami. The Cheese Steak Hoagie, on the other hand, was absolute perfection. The sandwich is huge and packed with chopped meat that has the cheese evenly distributed throughout, which again, is an absolute necessity. The rolls are from The Conshohocken Italian Bakery.
Child Friendly
With their opening, MaGerk's became the best, child-friendly restaurant in the area. There is no competition for a place to take your kids of all ages to go with no worries and enjoy a relaxed, fun meal.
Dancing
It remains to be seen if there will be dancing on the new marble bar top, as once took place in the old Bent Elbow. For now, one thing is for sure, people are having a great time dancing on the floor to the popular bands and local radio stations that have been broadcasting live during special events.
Free parking
Even with the massive crowds that have gathered during the grand opening months, the crew at MaGerk's has done a great job of providing enough parking for all patrons.
Fun Atmosphere
There is electricity in the air in this enormous, beautifully renovated restaurant/bar in Fort Washington. The atmosphere alone is a welcome addition to the neighborhood for families and locals meeting for a casual drink alike.
Fun Fare
With fresh, fun takes on standard pub fare, MaGerk's really improves on the local "bar food." Crab Pretzels, Cheese Steak Egg Rolls and Tempura Pickles are all options at the bar and in the dining room.
Happy Hour
Happy Hour is every night from 5PM-7PM. Specials include $1.50 Yuenglings, Coors, Bud and Bud Light drafts; $5 martinis; $4 house wines; $5.00 Crushes.
Live Entertainment
The newly renovated mega-pub in Eastern Montgomery County brings entertainment back to the area with bands playing most Friday and Saturday evenings at 10PM. Check their website for weekly updates.
Meet For a Drink
There is no comparison to the sheer amount of space available to sit around the bars. Add to that the specials, TV's and fun bar food and this is a great place to meet for a drink if you are looking for a fun pub atmosphere.

This is definitely the newest, hottest place in town.
Quick Bite
Despite being SO new, the kitchen truly has their act together. Several visits have proven that food moves swiftly and accurately to tables and patrons are able to have a leisurely meal, or get in and out quickly if they wish.

Both bar areas are blanketed with flat screens. When the stage is not in use, there is a theater style screen that is pulled down to broadcast games. Need we say more?
